It’s the first day of Fall, ya’ll!
Thursday September 22, 2016 marks the first day of Autumn. Although the weather is still very warm and could easily be confused for late-Summer, it’s now officially the Fall season. It’s time for pumpkin-everything and colour tones of oranges and browns.
Autumn also means that Thanksgiving (in Canada) is quickly approaching, so it’s almost time for turkey. Yum!
Personally, I traditionally wear shorts and flip flops until the first snow flies, but that doesn’t mean it’s not Fall. Grab a warm drink and go for a drive or walk, enjoy the changing colours of the leaves all around you.
I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful and stunning areas for the changing of the seasons. Georgian Bay is one of the best spots to view the leaves changing colours. Check out the Fall Colour Routes for the best locations to visit.
Wishing you a safe, fun and spooky Halloween full of your favourite candy & chocolate!
